My Story
I grew up in Sussex and having studied Philosophy and Sociology at the University of East Anglia I went on to train as a Windsurfing Instructor. This led me on to exploring a career in education as a secondary RE teacher and further development as a school leader.
I have been in senior leadership in secondary education for thirty years and worked with some exceptional and inspiring leaders, teams and young people. This has led to taking on a wide range of roles, including executive leadership, school improvement and developing people at all levels of their careers. This inspired me to explore coaching. Having been coached myself, I was keen to qualify as a professional and executive coach to continue to challenge myself to learn and also to have the privilege of supporting people to unlock their potential personally and professionally.
In working as a coach I have been fortunate to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and professions. This has included life coaching, executive and career coaching. I have also coached teams and individuals and also offered outdoor coaching on the South Downs.
I am married with two adult children and continue to enjoy an active lifestyle with fitness, watersports and time with extended family. I am also actively involved in the local Catholic community, supporting faith and spiritual development, particularly for young people.
